The hotel rooms were well-appointed and spacious. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast was enjoyable with delicious pancakes. The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance to various attractions.

Outdated bathrooms in the rooms, but the location right by the airport is amazing! 🛫 This place has rooms with older bathroom facilities, but it’s hard to beat its prime location close to the airport.

I really enjoyed having 2 queen size beds in the well-appointed room. The team at the receptionist was very amiable. Its location was very central, only a short distance to Starbucks. It was located in a secure area adjacent to the local shopping district, airport shuttle, and the San Mateo bridge.

Loved the spacious and comfortable room with its well-appointed furnishings. The breakfast was exceptional, and the servers were friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, with easy access to stores, restaurants, and transportation. Despite a minor noise issue with the mini-fridge, our stay was enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend Hilton Garden for a pleasant stay in San Mateo.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet! One of the few where my girlfriend (who has a dairy allergy) could eat a decent breakfast.

Modern and ideal hotel with accommodating reception staff. Bright and spacious room equipped with climate control, pay television, and a microwave. Magnificent and unbeatable location in San Mateo, close to San Francisco, the airport, and various restaurants. Adjacent to Bj's Restaurant & Brewhouse, a great spot to relax.

There are many tasty meal choices available here and the double room includes a microwave and a cozy chair with an ottoman.

The value for money was great and the room was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, tucked away yet close to shopping and dining options. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety and written material about recommended restaurants would have been helpful.

Staff were all super friendly accommodating. Onsite food was all good, reasonably priced (except breakfast was expensive) for hotel food. Beautiful and comfortable lobby with large spaces for gathering. Easily accessible to highways, train station, and nearby local stores. Nice, safe area. The pool area was nice for sitting and smoke-free.

The price was a high considering the location and type of facility but it is San Fran. Coffee was free in the mornings but breakfast was pricey for a hotel breakfast. One of the patios outside which could have been very nice seemed to be neglected for routine cleaning as there were dinnerware and cigarette butts around.
